About the Key Club:
Key Club is a an international organization that is part of the Kiwanis Club family. Key clubs have four seasonal activites that we particpate in: fundraising for UNICEF, the March of Dimes, Read and Lead, and the Children's Miracle Network.
The CFHS Key Club is under the sponsorship of the Fredericksburg Kiwanis Club, along with Stafford High School, James Monroe High School, and Fredericksburg Christian High School. Through interclub activities and working with the Kiwanis club, we have multiple opportunites to serve our community as a whole and help individuals.

Meetings:
We meet on the first and third Wed of each month in room 308. We also attend Kiwanis functions, interclub activites, conferences, and conduct special projects.
Membership in the Key Club:
- Dues are $15 per year.
- Members are welcome from all grades, but Freshmen need to have attended Colonial Forge for one semester before applying for membership.
News:
Last year was our first full year in operation, we were very active for a young club. We raised money for UNICEF, donated to Molten Art, donated to March of Dimes as well as the Tsumani relief effort. We also adopted a senior citizen and helped her clean her house, feed her pets, provided meals for her as well as money for books and other necessities. We particpated in two Youth Nights with the Kiwanis Club and Circle K Club from Mary Washington University. We collected hats, books, and coats for various organizations and assisted in a yard sale with the JM club for veterans. We also donated items to the homeless shelter and to the troops overseas.
Next year, we hope to continue our service and attend several conferences that are sponsored by Key Club International and the Kiwanis International clubs.
